Pope Francis arrived in Indonesia on Tuesday. Shortly after landing at Suekarno Hata International Airport in Jakarta, the Pope was received by Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs Yakut Ciolil Kumas. With this visit, Pope Francis hopes to inspire his Catholic communities and continue the tradition of interfaith harmony in the country with the world's largest Muslim population. A highlight of the first leg of Pope Francis' trip will be his participation in an interfaith meeting at the Istiklal Mosque on Thursday. This mosque is located in Jakarta's central square with a Catholic cathedral across the street. He will also visit Papua New Guinea, East Timor and Singapore as part of his 11-day tour. (AP)
